The Q3 prices for fancy pink and blue diamonds climbed 0.4 and 0.7 percent respectively while price of yellow diamonds dipped 0.1 percent, according to the Fancy Colour Diamond Index published by the Fancy Colour Research Foundation (FCRF). A distinctive difference in prices can be spotted in the one carat category, blue diamonds rose 4.7 percent, yellow diamonds dropped 2.2 percent but intense yellow diamonds increased 1.1 percent. Prices of blue up for 6 percent, while fancy vivid blue jumped 8.5 percent and yellow recorded a 0.4 yoy decline, compared to 2017.
