In celebration of the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse, one of the most popular cartoon characters since 1928, Hong Kong jeweller Chow Tai Fook has launched the “90 Years of Mickey” jewellery collection featuring the evolution of the darling character over the years.
The new collection comprises of jewellery, coins and notes in gold or silver, together with a special Chow Tai Fook T Mark diamond ring dedicated to the collection. The Mickey Mouse featured in the collection come in different styles, from the button-eye captain in Steamboat Willie to the pie-eye Mickey with gloves, the well-received magician Mickey in the 1940s, etc.
The pie-eye Mickey can also been seen in the Chow Tai Fook T Mark diamond ring, with 90 limited pieces, inscribed with the face of the Mickey together with a unique number and the T Mark which can be viewed under a special microscope.
