GIT to offer free knowledge seminars during BJGF

The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) will offer three free knowledge seminars during the 58th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, which will be held from 7 to 11 September 2016 at Impact Challenger.

The three seminars include: ‘The Importance of the Nickel Release Testing to Jewellery Exporting’, given by Jakraphan Suwanvijit, chief of precious metal testing department of GIT; ‘From Stones to Styles – A perspective of cultural inspiration to the creative Chanthaburi-gem pieces’, given by Veerwarat Sirivesmas, lecturer of the department of jewellery design, Silpakorn University and ‘An update on Ruby and Sapphire Treatment’, given by Thanong Leelawatanasuk, chief of gem testing laboratory department, GIT.

The seminars will be held from 10:00 to 15:30 on 10 September 2016, interested parties may register by fax or email before 2 September 2016. The registration form can be accessed here.
