The “GOLDITALY / GOLDSTAR: NECK-À-PORTER” exhibition was held in Shenzhen from 8 to 10 April 2015 by OroArezzo. It was a collaboration between OroArezzo, Arezzo Fiere e Congressi and a Chinese gold company Shenzhen Yuehao Jewelry Co. Ltd, which helped promote OroArezzo in Asia.
The jewellery displayed included 25 necklaces handcrafted by the master goldsmiths of Arezzo. The precious creations were enhanced by the garments designed by Chiara Boni, an internationally renowned Italian fashion designer. Andrea Boldi, president of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi said Arezzo chose to organise the event in Shenzhen because “it is the most refined frame” through which they could present the Italian goldsmith tradition,“an art that is the envy of the entire world”, to the Chinese public.
According to Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, under the direction of Beppe Angiolini, art director of OroArezzo and president of the Chamber of Italian Fashion Buyers, the “GOLDITALY / GOLDSTAR: NECK-À-PORTER” exhibition serves as the new means of introducing the most creative innovations to an international audience.
