Dickson Yewn’s Collectibles Given for Sotheby’s Charity Auction

Multimedia Artist Dickson Yewn will donate four iconic jewellery pieces for the charity auction of women's Chinese tunic suits from the "A Century of Inheritance · Women's Power" project, as part of the Sotheby's Important Jewels auction to be hosted on February 18 for Hong Kong’s RE(LUX) – A Luxury Series.

Among the jewellery donated by Mr. Yewn, two of them are handed down collectibles, including limited edition “Golden Kaiserihind Butterfly” - hardwood, diamond and gem set brooch as well as “Literati Collection” - hardwood, mother-of-pearl, diamond and gem set bangle inspired by “The Butterfly in Zhuangzi's Dream” and “The Dream of The Red Chamber” respectively. The charity auction aims to raise fund for “Needle and Thread Charitable Foundation” organised by China Women's Development Foundation to help women in remote areas of China to connect and cultivate its cultural heritage and traditional handicrafts to the wider public.
