GJEPC reveals new icon and design award winners

21-7-2021

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) introduces the new GJEPC logo and presented awards to the winners of The Artisan Awards at the Hotel Four Seasons in Mumbai on 20 July.

The logo’s concentric circle serves as the sparkling table of a polished diamond and the khaki yellow outer circle represents the brilliance. The logo symbolises India’s centrality to the jewellery industry. “The new identity reflects the positioning of putting India on the global stage: the destination the world turns to for gems and jewellery,” GJEPC chairman Colin Shah said.

11 winners were awarded across three categories in its 4th edition jewellery design competition the Artisan Awards. GJEPC received an overwhelming response from all over the world, including Japan, the US, Taiwan, Russia, Egypt, Abu Dhabi and Australia.
