Antwerp-headquartered diamond manufacturer HB Antwerp will offer educational courses via its HB Academy.
Starting this September, the academy will host a technical curriculum focus on diamond polishing three times a year. Up to eight candidates who pass through a “rigorous selection process” will go through the 12-week training. Those who completed will land a job at HB Antwerp.
Other educational courses included the nuances of rough and polished diamonds, catered to boutique jewellers, as well as major watch and jewellery brands. According to the academy, “These courses will help sales staff better understand their products and address questions posed by customers.”
HB Academy will comprise three components: training for those who aim to be diamond specialists, courses for jewellery retailers, and HB Antwerp’s corporate continuing education program for its own employees.
