Chow Tai Fook (CTF) has joined the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO) as a member, the membership is hailed as a ‘giant milestone’ for CIBJO.
CIBJO president Gaetano Cavalieri said: “Chow Tai Fook will provide [the] confederation with a considerably broader perspective, not only in what are several of the fastest-growing markets in the global jewellery trade, but also in the online environment, which is consuming an ever-larger share of sales.”
CIBJO said CTF has led the way in Asia and elsewhere and expects it to take a leading role in CIBJO. As of 31 March 2021, the group had 4,591 points in total, including 4,452 points of sale in mainland China and 139 POS in Hong Kong, Macau, and other markets.
