Future jewellery, for your eyes only

Neclumi, a projection-based interactive necklace recently invented by panGenerator, a new media design and art group in Warsaw, Poland, is perhaps the first intangible wearable object on earth. “We predict that wearable projection and projection-based jewellery become a reality in a few years,” says the website.

All it requires are a picoprojector connected via HDMI cable attaching to the wearer’s chest, and an iPhone app which offers four modes of movement namely AIRO, ROTO, MOVI and SONO, reacting to the walking speed, the rotation of the body, the body movement and the ambient sound respectively.

The developer says they are working on a wireless version of the necklace and inviting funding and collaboration.
