Gübelin Academy, founded by The House of Gübelin in Hong Kong in 2013, has just launched its new online course ‘Coloured Gem Professional: The Basics’ for the world’s gem aficionados.
The online course offers an introduction to the world of coloured gemstones, with the focus on the “Big Three” – ruby, emerald and sapphire. Course materials include videos, experts’ insights, personal interviews, etc. Conducted in English, the course is divided into four modules, with each of them concluding with an examination. Fees are US$265. The four modules can be taken and completed individually. Upon successfully completing all modules, participants will receive a certificate and are eligible to go deeper in the world of coloured gemstones with Level 2.
