GSI introduces new post to enhance education

New York-based Gemological Science International (GSI) has recently appointed Alethea Inns (photo) as newly added chief learning officer as part of GSI’s commitment to ongoing education programmes for the trade and consumers.

Holder of management and geology degrees, Inns is a GIA graduate gemmologist and a Gem-A FGA specialising in the theory and practice of diamond grading, fancy-coloured diamonds, coloured gemstone identification, learning strategy, e-learning development, etc.

“Alethea brings valuable expertise and extensive knowledge to her role, which will contribute to our long -term goals. We are thrilled to welcome Alethea to our team,” said Debbie Azar, president and co-founder of GSI.
