Designer brings hope to children

22-05-2019

Jewellery designer and artist Reena Ahluwalia continues to donate her paintings to raise funds for the Jewelers for Children (JFC). This year she will donate her recent artwork ‘Hope’ which will be auctioned at JFC’s Facets of Hope event on 2 June in Las Vegas.

‘Hope’ is a 20-inch painting of a realistic round brilliant diamond which took Ahluwalia 200 hours to complete. She said: “I am honored to be able to contribute to JFC and urge our generous industry members to continue supporting the charity with what they can. This is an impact that is measurable and one that truly matters."

Ahluwalia is a renowned award-winning jewellery designer, painter and professor.

JFC was founded in 1999 in the United States with the mission of helping children in need. Since inception, JFC has donated more than US$55 million to programmes benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect.
