Chanel has long embraced camellia as its jewellery theme to praise for the simplicity and splendour of the bloom. The new ‘One camellia, five allures’ jewellery collection blossomed in Paris comprises Quintessence diamond brooch (photo 1), Rouge Incandescent ruby and diamond bracelet, earrings and ring (photo 2, 3 and 4).
The camellia-themed collection consists of 50 pieces of jewellery. 23 of them are detachable such as the camellias adorned on the Rough Incandescent bracelet and the Eclat De Diamant watch (photo 5) can be wear as a brooch separately. “My jewellery is versatile and dynamic. It can be pulled apart, worn with a fur coat or pinned to a hat. This jewellery set has lost its inflexibility – it is subject to the changes of life and may be adapted to new styles,” said Gabrielle Chanel.
