Diamond trading website RapNet will offer jewellery trading. RapNet members can upload product details, images, and a 360-degree view videos of the item for sale, and trade with other members without any transaction fees. “Possibilities are endless with regards to how many new RapNet members we will gain. Adding jewellery allows RapNet to reach a new market in the industry, and that is those that deal strictly in jewellery, and may not deal in diamonds,” said Sherri Hendricks, operation vice president.
The platform commenced in 1992 and was remodelled last year for streamlining and safeguarding communications. It has about 14,600 members from 97 countries and regions and listing more than 1.5 million diamonds over US$7.4 billion currently. Rapnet CEO Saville Stern said they will continue to provide more opportunities for their members to increase their profit.
