AP’s new editions pay tributes to independent women

Swiss haute horlogerie brand Audemars Piguet celebrated the launch of a new addition of three editions to the Millenary collection for women on 7 July 2015 in Paris. Actress and women’s rights defensor Freida Pinto has become a new brand ambassador. Renowned Hong Kong artist Michele Reis was invited to attend the celebration and presented the new collection in an exclusive photo shoot.

The Millenary collection was first launched 20 years ago in a bid to reflect the multi-layered nature of the woman who wears it. The three new editions are made to look different with enhanced complexity - powered by the hand-wound movement calibre 5201, reflecting the style and character of independent women today, said Audemars Piguet.

Apart from the newly developed hand-wound movement, the three new editions feature a diamond-set case in either 18-karat pink or 18-karat white gold. Two models, in both pink and white gold, are set with 116 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and lug, while the other one is entirely set with a total of 574 diamonds on the case, buckle and dial.
