World’s biggest jewellery show returns to
Hong Kong this September

JGW draws 3,000+ exhibitors from 40+ countries as industry celebrates artistry, innovation and the next wave of talent

HONG KONG, 23 July 2026 – Hong Kong lights up this September as the global jewellery industry gathers for JGW (Jewellery & Gem World Hong Kong), the sector’s biggest and most important stage, Informa Markets announced today.

Over seven days, JGW September connects the international buying community with 3,000+ exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions. This is where the industry locks in collections for the holiday rush, discover fresh talent and spots the trends that will carry through 2027.

Online pre-registration for JGW September is now open and remains available until 6 September.

“The jewellery industry, like many sectors, is navigating a perfect storm of change: Geopolitical uncertainties, rising sustainability expectations, AI and digital innovation, the growth of social commerce and a younger generation discovering gemstones and jewellery on their own terms,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs. “JGW September draws everyone in the industry to make sense of it all − giving our community the connections and insights they need to turn these challenges into opportunities.”

Allen Xiang, General Manager for Jewellery, said the breadth and depth of the product offerings at JGW is what sets this buying destination apart.

“Scale matters, especially when the industry is under pressure. But JGW is not only about sourcing − it’s about discovery,” Xiang said. “We have brought together quality exhibitors, a product range that gives buyers real choice, attendees who come ready to do business and a city built for global trade − Hong Kong. When you put all that in one place, buyers don’t just find products − they find direction.”
Everything jewellery & gems
The industry’s No.1 meeting point spans two venues and six specialised fairs tailored to different product categories, delivering a complete snapshot of what is available now and what is coming next.

From 14 − 18 September at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), three co-located fairs will focus on precious materials, namely Gemstones (Halls 3, 6, 8 & 10), Diamonds & Fine Gems (Halls 5, 7 & 9) and Pearls+ (Halls 9 & 11).

This section is home to several must-visit zones. The Diamond Pavilion, one of the world's largest, showcases the full spectrum of the industry − from fancy colour diamonds to flawless stones in excellent cuts. The Fine Gem Pavilion (FGP) is another top destination, attracting buyers of coveted gemstones sought after by legacy brands, designers and collectors. The Gemstone Pavilion, known for its high concentration of loose gemstone suppliers in one location, is essential for buyers seeking stones in virtually every colour, cut, quality and price range. Buyers will also find the Pearl Pavilion, which features internationally renowned suppliers of Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater pearls. Dealers specialising in other ocean-born gems − such as conch and melo pearls − will also be present.

Complementing the precious materials display at AWE, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will host three shows from 16 – 20 September dedicated to finished jewellery, packaging solutions, tools & equipment and jewellery technology. These are Hong Kong (Hall 1), International (Halls 3 & 5) and Fine Design (Grand Hall), which unveils jewellery creations with rare and investment-quality gems.

Key attractions at HKCEC include the CORE Pavilion, highlighting the best of Hong Kong’s jewellery and gemstone industry, and the Premier Pavilion, spotlighting the latest trends and styles in luxury jewellery. Other noteworthy spaces include the Fei Cui Gallery, Antique & Vintage Jewellery, Designer Arena and International Fine Jewellery, among others. Additionally, trade association-led, themed and country & regional sections offer exhibits categorised by product type and origin, allowing buyers to navigate the show floor effortlessly and find their desired products with ease.

Enhancing the buyer journey, Informa’s Exhibitor Finder adds a new dimension to the visitor experience. This AI-powered tool connects attendees with suppliers through smart recommendations.
Complementary fashion focus
The sourcing opportunity expands further with Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair – SEASONS | Autumn, running concurrently in Hall 5BC of the HKCEC from 16 – 20 September. Recognised as the marketplace to experience the newest in fashion accessories, SEASONS | Autumn puts design trend forecasting to the forefront through curated exhibits including MODE by SEASONS − powered by Fashion by Informa. Combined with JGW’s six shows, buyers gain access to the industry’s most complete sourcing spectrum – from fine jewellery to runway-ready accessories.
