Winners of CPAA’s Pearl Design Competition revealed

The Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA) has revealed seven winners of its 9th Annual International Pearl Design Competition (IPDC) among 33 American finalist pieces across seven categories, plus one popularity award chosen by Instagram likes on the CPAA account. President’s Trophy (the most beautiful and original design concept)

Luster Award (best-selling pearl jewellery design)

Day-to-Night pendant necklace (photo 2), designed by Hisano Shepherd of Little h Jewelry

 

Orient Award (ideal item for a new pearl collector with an accessible price)

Orbit pendant (photo 3), designed by Timo Krapf

 

Visionary Award for Classic Styles (an update on a pearl staple)

Time is Now Convertible necklace (photo 4), designed by Jennifer Pusenkoff

 

Wedding Day Pearls (a design fit for bridal)

Fashion Award (design that is creative, youthful and original)
