According to the trade association Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China Ltd (DFHK), polished-diamond imports to Hong Kong increased in the first half of 2018, despite a slight drop in the average price of the inbound shipments.
Polished imports by value grew four percent from January to June, while exports from the city remained stable compared to the same period last year, DFHK said.
