Chanel showcased its new high jewellery collection titled Coromandel at an exhibition space at Grand Palais in Paris. The latest collection comprises 59 creations in three themes: floral, evoking Chanel’s signature flower, the Camellia, animal and mineral, of which 29 pieces are one-of-a-kind. Coromandel refers to a technique used to create the panels by applying lacquer in even layers on top of a wooden base in southeast India.
