Tiancheng Int’l jewellery sale on 2 October

The mid-season jewellery auction held by Tiancheng International will be held on 2 October 2017 featuring designer jewellery from celebrated names including Nisan, de Grisogono, Wallace Chan and Jason Koo.

Blue titanium Butterfly brooch from Thai designer Nisan is set with approximately 27.35 carats of coloured sapphires and approximately 2.55 carats of diamonds. According to the auction house, Nisan’s another butterfly brooch was sold four times its pre-sale estimate at its autumn auction last year. (Estimate: HK$80,000 - $150,000/US$10,300-19,200)

Hong Kong designer Jason Koo’s magnificent ring features a jadeite cabochon in intense green hue measuring 21.73 x 18.10 x 9.48 mm. Different from most of the jadeite cabochons that are flat underneath, this rare stone shows a carefully-designed rounded surface on the bottom. The ring is accented with rubies and diamonds. (Estimate: HK$3,600,000-$5,600,000)

Swiss-based de Grisogono will be showcasing a Columbian emerald and diamond parure. The necklace, for instance, is set with a total of 139.41 carats of vibrant-green emeralds and 64 carats of diamonds. (Estimate: Hk$9,000,000-$15,000,000)

Two rare pendants from Wallace Chan’s early works are on offer without reserve in the auction: the 34.75-carat blue topaz pendant and the 22.02-carat citrine and diamond pendant demonstrate the jewellery artist’s immaculate craftsmanship in stone carving. (Both estimate: HK$20,000-$40,000)

The sale will also present a wide array of watches from renowned brands such as Cartier, Girard-Perregaux and Tiffany & Co.

A preview will be held during 28 September - 1 October 2017 at Tiancheng International’s headquarters in Central, Hong Kong. (Photo courtesy: Tiancheng International)
