Wallace Chan on jewellery & creation

World-renowned jewellery artist Wallace Chan will be giving a seminar on jewellery, design and culture on 5 August 2017, Saturday, at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

As part of the ‘Hong Kong Students Design Competition on Fei Cui Jewellery in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Reunification of Hong Kong with China’ organised by the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA), the ‘Enlightening Journey of Creativity’ seminar aims to inspire design students and the general public in Hong Kong to see creativity from a new perspective. Audience will have a chance to talk with the legendary Chinese jewellery designer directly.

Admission: HK$100 deposit (be fully-refunded within seven working days)

 

As one of the most significant modern jewellery designers in the world, Wallace Chan holds several ‘firsts’, among them are the first Asian jewellery designer participated in the Biennale des Antiquaires, the first Chinese jewellery artist at TEFAF, etc. He is also considered one of the 10 most influential jewellery designers over the last 40 years.
