Vicenzaoro September 2017 will focus on corporate responsibility

Organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), Vicenzaoro announced that the new September 2017 editionwill start on 23 September 2017 with a rich calendar of novelties and appointments.

The organiser said the theme for Vicenzaoro September 2017 will be “Green Jewellery”, representing the corporate responsibility and the sourcing policies of all the materials employed in the sector. The upcoming fair will house over 1,500 brands of exhibiting firms coming from 36 countries from all over the worldas well as the main Italian goldsmith areas. It is expected to attract visitors, buyers, journalists, opinion leaders and trendsetters of the foreign key markets as well.

Thanks to the support of the Italian Trade Agency, Vicenzaoro will host 500 choice buyers and a delegation of 150 Italian retailers by Federpreziosi, the national federation of goldsmith, jewellery, silversmith and clockmaker firms. In addition, over 800 ‘Gold Buyers’, chosen among the top players of the European and International market will benefit from exclusive services devoted to them during the show.

The exhibition format Vicenzaoro The Boutique ShowTM, which divides the entire product offer in 6 areas (ICON, LOOK, CREATION, EXPRESSION, ESSENCE, EVOLUTION) will be adopted again this time. Technology and innovation will be the highlight in the S.E.T Small Equipment & Tools area at Pavilion 2.2.

On the second day of the fair, the IEG will collaborate with the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO)to hold a conference on the impact of the new EUConflict MineralsRegulation on the jewellery industry and on the strategies to answer any new requirements.

TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting,an independent forecasting observatory of the goldsmith and jewellery world, will launch the new TRENDBOOK 2019+,a source of inspiration and crucial tool for manufacturers and designers to stay updated on the consumers’ habits and to anticipate market trends. A dedicated seminar hosted by Paola De Luca, creative director of the observatory will be held the fair.
