Japan as the four key markets of platinum with China, the United States and India, has the highest per capita consumption for platinum jewellery and has a 2.4 percent annual average growth in retail ounce sales since 2013. Its female customers have contributed to the sales. According to PGI, 49 percent in their 40s and 67 percent in their 50s and 60s bought platinum jewellery for themselves.

“Platinum is in synergy with Japanese concepts of design; pure and authentic, precious with clarity.
