Tiffany & Co. will open its first-ever exhibition named Vision & Virtuosity in celebration of the brand’s 180 years of artistry, running from 23 September to 10 November at the Fosun Foundation in Shanghai.
The exhibition is made up of six themes: Blue Is the Color of Dreams, The World of Tiffany, The Tiffany Blue Book, Tiffany Love, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Diamonds: Miracles of Nature. Visitors will travel back in time to see 350 works since Charles Lewis Tiffany founded his company in New York City in 1837 to the current Chief Artistic Officer Reed Krakoff and renowned designers such as Jean Schlumberger as well as the iconic Tiffany Setting. The Tiffany Diamond, a 128.54-carat yellow diamond, worn by Lady Gaga at the 2019 Oscars, will show up at the Diamonds: Miracles of Nature.
Proceeds from the ticket sales going to the foundation’s charitable programs. Tiffany may consider bringing the exhibition elsewhere, without any future locations confirmed yet.
