Leibish partners with e-tailer Kela in China

Kela, one of China’s online diamond ecommerce players, and Israel based company Leibish & Co have announced their long-term strategic partnership that Leibish & Co will be the exclusive fancy colored diamond provider for Kela’s diamond e-tail platform.The signing ceremony was presented by Leibish Polnauer, president of Leibish & Co and Guo Feng, CEO of Kela at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair on 19 June 2014.

Leibish Polnauer said: “Combining our expertise in the fancy color diamond market and ecommerce with Kela’s large customer base and expertise in the region will create a bounty of opportunities for the average consumer in Asia to finally have access to high-end natural fancy colors.”

This partnership supports Leibish & Co’s to be the premiere online source for fancy coloured diamonds and jewellery to the global customers. Currently, Kela has approximately US$120 million in annual sales. The company operates 36 experience stores in about 33 cities as a complement to its online business, with 60 percent of revenue contributed by 80 percent of online customers.
