The Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) and the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC)will hold their second online diamond trade show on the Virtual Diamond Boutique trading platform from 14-17 September.
Charges a nominal fee from exhibitors, the platform enables natural diamond buyers and traders to have a real-time video chat, group chat and in-app messaging for 24 hours a day. IDI said a total of 24 Israeli companies will exhibit.
“Since all trade shows have been cancelled due to the pandemic, we sought a digital alternative for members of the Israeli Diamond Industry. The first show exceeded our expectations. We, therefore, decided to continue with this venture and we are confident that this show will also deliver positive results,” IDI managing director Aviel Elia said.
