Diamonds, pearls blossom at HK contest

Themed ‘Blossom’, the JMA International Jewelry Design Competition organised by the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (HKJMA) and HKJE magazine revealed winning pieces from the open groups and computer-aided design group during the Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers’ Show in November 2018. A total of over 320 entries competed to get the nod from the judges. The contest formerly known as Buyers’ Favorite Jewelry Design Competition has been running for 19 years. Champions of the open groups were awarded a study tour to Tahiti sponsored by the Tahitian Pearl Association Hong Kong (TPAHK) and winners of the computer-aided design group were awarded one year free resin printing service sponsored by 3D Plus Printing Co. Ltd. Here we highlight some of the winning designs.
