Italy’s VOJ dedicates to the future

Vicenzaoro January 2018, the Jewellery Boutique Show, will be held 19 - 24 January at the Vicenza Exhibition Centre where over 1,500 brands from 30 countries and regions covering an area of over 25,000m2 which was sold out in mid-December 2017, according to show organiser Italian Exhibition Group (IEG).

IEG said the number of participating high-end brands is up by 10 percent over the last edition. International exhibitors account for 40 percent of the total number of participation.

The show is made up of six themed-districts namely Icon, Look, Creation, Expression, Essence and Evolution. The Icon area is deemed to be the heart of trends, design and research in which the Design Room is back since 2017 with 12 independent brands from all around the globe offering their most innovative and exclusive designs.

The show is “entirely dedicated to the future” under the theme Visio.Next which highlights the multi-channel character of distribution, said IEG.

Among the numerous themed pavilions are the Hong Kong Pavilion and the Thailand Pavilion organised by the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA). Located at Hall 3.1, the two pavilions will unveil exquisite and innovative jewellery designs from 60 famed brands chosen from Hong Kong and Thailand. The first show day features the Visio.Next summit dedicated to luxury and jewellery with in-depth discussions on the topics of traceability and sustainability and a high-level expert panel. In the evening the prize presentation ceremony of the 6th Andrea Palladio International Jewellery Awards will be held to recongise the best of the Italian and international jewellery and the creators.

T-Gold, held concurrently with Vicenzaoro January 2018, is an international show for machinery and technologies applied to gold and jewellery making. It is 20 percent bigger than last edition in 2017 with over 160 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions.
